Mr. Long has 25 years’ experience as a litigator in State and Federal courts of Illinois and Indiana, and has successfully prosecuted and defended multi-million dollar lawsuits, including cases involving Wrongful Death, Product Liability, Class Actions, a commercial litigation. His practice has a strong concentration in labor and employment law including experience representing governmental entities and corporate counsel representation of small to medium-sized businesses with labor and employment matters, including Federal and State claims related to non-compete agreements, discrimination, harassment, wrongful termination, Title VII, and other unfair labor practice claims.
Mr. Long is an experienced Arbitrator and a certified mediator. He is licensed in the State of Illinois and State of Indiana, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois Trial and General Bar, and the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana.
Mr. Long is a member of various bar associations and has completed the National Institute for Trial Advocacy (NITA) Intensive Professional Trial Advocacy Program. Attorney Long is often retained to act as local counsel for several Chicago based law firms. Attorney Long continues to operate offices in both Illinois and Indiana.
